These terms apply to the use of the Softwaregarten Plugins website, product pages, documentation and plugin access provided through Freemius.

Distribution through Freemius

Plugin downloads, licenses, checkout, customer account access and payment-related processes are handled by Freemius.

The Softwaregarten website does not provide standalone production ZIP downloads. Please use the official Freemius customer or checkout area for plugin access.

Backups and staging

Before installing, updating or configuring any plugin, you are responsible for creating a current and restorable backup of your website, database and files.

For production websites, test updates and configuration changes in a staging or development environment before applying them live.

User responsibility

WordPress installations differ by hosting, PHP version, theme, active plugins, cache layers and custom code. You are responsible for checking compatibility in your own environment.

Security, spam protection and ordering workflows require sensible configuration and regular review. No plugin can guarantee complete protection or uninterrupted operation in every scenario.

No guarantee of specific results

Softwaregarten Plugins are provided to support practical website operations, but we do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes, search rankings, conversion rates, uptime improvements or complete elimination of spam, bot traffic or operational errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, lost profits, business interruption, indirect damages or consequential damages arising from installation, update, configuration or use of the plugins.

Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

Support and changes

Support is provided through the published support channels and depends on the information supplied with the request, such as plugin version, WordPress version, PHP version, active theme, relevant plugins and reproducible steps.

We may change website content, documentation, features and plugin availability where this is necessary for maintenance, security, product development or legal reasons.
